What Does the Bible Say About Cremation?
It is amazing the questions and fears people have about cremation. Especially Christian people. After reading a number of articles with all sorts of far fetched theories and even biblical misrepresentation, I decided to research the topic of cremation in the holy bible for myself. Most importantly, because I wanted to know and share with others what the bible really says about cremation.
Over the years I have known a number of people (even recent family members) who have chosen for one reason or another to be cremated instead of buried. So, when I say I approached this with unbiased intentions, just to find out the truth from the scriptures you can trust that I am being honest.
During my research on cremation in the scriptures I found it interesting that the commonly used phrase “Ashes to ashes and Dust to dust” is not even in the bible. One may ask then how or why do many ministers use the phrase? This is reviewed.
If you questions about th topic of cremation and want to know the truth from the word of God, I urge you to download the e-book.
Some Points discussed about Cremation
In this e-book you and I will discuss points like:
- Where does the phrase “Ashes to ashes” come from?
- Does the Bible give an opinion for how bodies should (or should not be) disposed of after death?
- What did Jesus Christ have to say on the topic?
There are a number of other scriptures around the topics of death and cremation discussed as well. I truly believe you will have a good understanding about this topic after reading.
God bless you.
